Vienna with tweens and teens (11+)
From eleven up, lean on the museums and the rides. The Technisches Museum and the Naturhistorisches Museum are both free under 19 and can hold a teenager for hours, and the Prater has rides fast enough for them. The palace starts to make sense at this age too.
Tips by age · 11+
- Both the Technisches Museum and the Naturhistorisches Museum are free under 19, so only adults pay.
- The Naturhistorisches Museum stays open until 8 pm on Wednesdays and is closed on Tuesdays.
- The Haus der Musik is open until 10 pm with last entry at 9 pm, which suits teenagers who sleep late.
