Ocean is the best indoor hour in Vienna for a crawler or toddler. School-age children get more from the exhibition and the studios. Over twelve, skip it unless the animation studio appeals.
Because everything has a start time, plan the day around it. Tickets go on sale online ten days ahead and the museum does not promise any at the door. You collect them at the box office 15 minutes before the session, and they cannot be cancelled or changed. Adults pay the same price as children and cannot go in without a child.
