Family card
Verdict by age
Not a general rating. How each age band actually experiences it.
Ages 3 to 10 are the target and it shows. It is the better palace ticket for most families with young children. Babies get nothing from it and anyone over twelve will be bored.
The combined ticket adds the Maze, the Labyrinth and the Labyrinthikon playground in the park. The Labyrinth area covers 2,700 square metres of games, including a giant kaleidoscope and a climbing pole with a bell at the top. This pairing gives a five-year-old the palace visit they can enjoy, and it sits a short walk from the zoo.
Tips for the visit
- Ticket offices at the Maze take cards only.
- The combined ticket with the maze and the zoo covers a full Schönbrunn day in one purchase.
- Check the maze opening hours on the day. They change with the season.
