Vienna with kids aged 6-10
Six to ten is the age when everything opens. They can ride the slide at the Danube Tower, climb the cathedral tower, do the hands-on exhibition at ZOOM and follow an audio guide through the palace. Pair one big thing in the morning with the Prater or a playground after lunch.
Tips by age · 6-10
- The Danube Tower slide is for ages 6 and up and at least 110 cm. It costs €5 and closes in rain.
- Agree a number of Prater rides before you go. They cost about €3.50 to €15 each and many take cash only.
- Take the North Tower lift at the cathedral to see the Pummerin, the largest bell in Austria.
