How we check
The nine answers
Every activity gets the same card: minimum age, the age from which a child enjoys it, duration, stroller access, child price, toilets and changing tables, queue, best time and a verdict for each age band.
Where the facts come from
Minimum age, prices and opening details come from the attraction's official website and, for tickets, from the ticket page. Stroller access, lifts and changing tables come from the attraction's accessibility or visitor pages. Transport notes come from the transit operator.
Each activity page lists the pages we read and the date we read them.
When we cannot confirm
The field stays empty and says so. Accessibility information changes and is hard to verify from a distance, so an empty field is more useful than a guess.
What the verdicts mean
Great: the age band is the target audience or close to it. Fine: works, with caveats explained in the note. Tiring: possible, but the effort outweighs what the child gets from it. Skip: do something else that day.
The age from which a child enjoys an activity and the verdicts are our judgement, not official data. They are based on duration, how much walking and waiting there is, and what there is to touch or watch.
Prices and dates
Prices are the ones listed on the checked date and will drift. Treat them as a guide and confirm on the ticket page before you go.
