Copenhagen with tweens and teens (11+)
Older children can handle the full-price sights and get free entry to most of the museums and castles until 18. Tivoli's coasters, Rosenborg's Treasury and a day at Kronborg all go down well. On Tivoli entrance and ride passes they have paid the adult price since they turned 8.
Tips by age · 11+
- From age 8 Tivoli charges the adult price: 150 to 230 DKK for entrance, 449 to 559 DKK with a Ride Pass.
- Children aged 12 to 15 need their own transport ticket, at about half the adult fare.
- Rosenborg bans backpacks and sells ten-minute time slots. Book ahead and use the free lockers.
