Copenhagen with kids aged 3-5
Three-to-five-year-olds do best with short, physical stops. Run up the Round Tower ramp, play in the King's Garden, then pick one big thing: the zoo, the aquarium or Tivoli's playground and small rides. Leave Rosenborg and the Little Mermaid walk for another year.
Tips by age · 3-5
- Trafiklegepladsen in Fælledparken lends small bikes and trikes to children under 130 cm during staffed hours.
- Rent a cart at the zoo entrance for 80 DKK plus a 20 DKK deposit. It saves the walk back to the gate.
- Ages 3 to 7 pay the child price at Tivoli, from 75 DKK for entrance. Under-3s are free.
