Berlin with tweens and teens (11+)

11 activities71/100Getting around3-day itineraryChecked Oct 5, 2026

From eleven, Berlin's history starts to land. The East Side Gallery, the DDR Museum and the Reichstag dome make a good day together, and two of the three are free. Skip the Lego centre and keep the zoo short.

Tips by age · 11+

  • Register for the Reichstag dome in advance. Ages 14 and 15 need photo ID, 16 and over a passport or ID card.
  • The DDR Museum is open until 9 pm, so it fits after dinner.
  • Walk the East Side Gallery before 10 am, then take scooters or skates to Tempelhofer Feld.
