Prague with tweens and teens (11+)
Older kids can handle the castle properly, and it is usually what they remember. Add the Old Town Hall tower, the technical museum and an afternoon at Aquapalace. From 10 to 14 they still ride public transport free, but they need a photo ID that shows their date of birth.
Tips by age · 11+
- Carry a passport or ID card for children aged 10 to 14. Without it they pay the adult fare on public transport.
- Prague Castle's reduced ticket runs to age 16: CZK 300 for the Main circuit, valid for two days.
- Buy Aquapalace tickets online. Weekend visits are then charged at the Monday to Thursday price.
