London with tweens and teens (11+)
Older children want the famous things and some independence. The Tower of London, the London Eye and Wonderlab at the Science Museum hold their attention, and the Harry Potter studio tour is the big one if they know the films. From 11, public transport is no longer free, so ask station staff for the Young Visitor discount on an Oyster card.
