SEA LIFE Orlando Aquarium with kids

A compact indoor aquarium at ICON Park with a walk-through tunnel and a children's play area near the end. It is short. Most families are through in an hour to an hour and a half, which is exactly why it works with a baby or a child who still naps.

A good hour for under-5s and a cool break from the heat. Ages 6 to 10 like the tunnel but finish fast. For an older child it is too small to justify on its own, so combine it with the wheel next door.

Children under 2 are free and ages 2 to 12 pay a reduced ticket. Adult tickets start at $29 online and cost $39 if you walk up. No food or drink is allowed inside. The aquarium takes strollers, but they must be no wider than a standard wheelchair and the staff suggest leaving them in the car. Baby changing stations are near the children's play area.

Tips for the visit

  • Feed everyone before you go in. No food or drink inside.
  • Bring a carrier if you have a double stroller.
  • Combination tickets with The Orlando Eye are sold on the official site.
  • ICON Park has free parking on floors 4 to 7 of its garage.
