Itinerary
3 days in Orlando with kids
Three days that mix one big park with two easier days. Swap day 1 for Universal or LEGOLAND depending on the ages you are travelling with.
Day 1
The castle day
- Morning
- Be at the Magic Kingdom gate for opening and do the rides your children care about most while the lines are short. Use Rider Switch if one of them is too small.
- Afternoon
- Eat early, then leave the park or find shade when the heat peaks. Come back in the late afternoon for the gentler rides and the evening.
- Break
- The Baby Care Center has a quiet nursing room, high chairs and a microwave, and it is free.

Day 2
Alligators and International Drive
- Morning
- Gatorland opens at 10 am. Walk the boardwalks, catch a show and let the small ones into the petting barnyard before it gets hot.
- Afternoon
- Drive to ICON Park and park on the free floors of the garage. Do SEA LIFE in the heat of the afternoon and ride The Orlando Eye near sunset.
- Break
- Eat before SEA LIFE, because no food or drink is allowed inside. Changing stations are near its play area.
Day 3
Science and the lake
- Morning
- Start in KidsTown at the Science Center when it opens at 10 am, then work up through the other floors. It is closed on Wednesdays outside school breaks.
- Afternoon
- Head downtown to Lake Eola Park for the playgrounds and a swan boat. The boats run until 7 pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
- Break
- The Science Center has private nursing lounges on Levels 2 and 3 and a cafe open 11 am to 4 pm.
