SeaWorld Orlando with kids

SeaWorld is part aquarium, part theme park. Small children get Sesame Street Land and the animal habitats, older ones get serious coasters, and everyone can sit down for a show when legs give out. That mix makes it one of the easier big parks with mixed ages.

A strong pick when your children are far apart in age. Toddlers have their own land, teenagers have coasters, and the shows give parents a seat. With a baby it works as a stroller day.

Children aged 2 and under are free and everyone from 3 up pays the same ticket. The list price is $151.99 but the park was selling single days online from $59.99 when we checked, so never buy at the gate. No outside food or coolers are allowed, apart from water, baby food and formula. Sesame Street Land has a Baby Care Center with a companion restroom.

Tips for the visit

  • Buy online. The gap between the web price and the list price is large.
  • General parking is $37, preferred $47.
  • You can bring a water bottle and baby food, and nothing else to eat.
  • Sesame Street Land is a Certified Autism Center and has a quiet room.
