Animal Kingdom mixes real animals with rides. The safari in an open truck is the part small children talk about afterwards, and there are walking trails where they can watch animals at their own pace. It asks less of a toddler than the castle park does.

A good first Disney park for a two or three-year-old because animals need no height check. Ages 6 and up get the rides as well. With a baby it is a pleasant stroller day and little more.

The same Disney basics apply here. There is a free Baby Care Center with changing tables, a nursing room and a small kitchen. Strollers rent at Garden Gate Gifts for $15 single or $31 double. Four rides offer Rider Switch, including both Pandora rides and Expedition Everest, which matters when one child is too small.

Tips for the visit

Do the safari first thing. It is the one experience every age in the family can share.
Standard parking is $35 a day.
Rent the stroller for several days and the price drops to $13 single or $27 double per day.
Kali River Rapids soaks you. Pack a change of clothes for the children.
