This is the safest bet in the city for any age. Under-10s get the most from it. Teenagers enjoy it but will be done in an hour, so pair it with the cable car next door.
The Oceanário gives 1h30 to 2h as the average visit and that matches a family pace. The route has ramps and lifts throughout. You cannot bring your own food into the exhibition and there is no dedicated feeding or breastfeeding room, so feed small children before you go in.
Tips for the visit
- Book the time slot online. The morning slot costs the most and the late afternoon one the least.
- The combined ticket with the cable car is sold by Telecabine Lisboa: €33.90 adult, €21.50 for ages 3 to 12.
- There are 39 paid lockers on floor 0 if you arrive with bags.
- Feed babies before entering. Outside food is not allowed during the visit.
