From five or six this is a highlight. Two-to-four-year-olds are allowed, but 90 minutes belted in is a long time. Babies under 2 cannot board, so one adult would have to stay behind.

It lasts around 90 minutes with no stops and everyone wears a seat belt, which is long for a three-year-old. Every passenger has to climb the five-step ladder alone, and strollers stay behind. The vehicle is open-sided, so bring a layer even on warm days. In July and August each ticket costs €4 more.

Tips for the visit

The operator offers 10% off for 2 adults with 2 or more children when booking direct.
If weather cancels the river section, the operator says you can ask for a 50% refund.
Bring a windproof layer. The sides are open.
