From 6 up it is a quick win, and for a child tall enough to ride, the swing is the highlight of the trip. Under 5 the view means little, though the ferry ride pleases them. Do not pay for it in rain or low cloud.
The draw for older children is Over the Edge, a swing that tips you out past the roofline. It costs extra, lasts about a minute and has a 1.20 m minimum height, so check before you promise anything. Without the swing, the visit is 45 minutes of looking and pointing. You cannot bring your own food or drink.
Tips for the visit
- Measure your child before you go. Under 1.20 m, no swing.
- Tickets cost €2 more at the counter than online.
- Cards only, no cash.
- For the swing the tower asks you to arrive half an hour before your slot.
