Luneur Park with kids

Luneur is the opposite of a big theme park. It is a small, leafy fairground in the EUR district aimed squarely at young children, with 24 rides, a carousel and a big wheel. A child of one metre can go on 20 of them, most with an adult alongside. It is manageable in three or four hours and nobody gets lost.

Made for three to ten year olds. Toddlers over 80 cm have a handful of rides with a parent. Anyone over eleven will find it babyish, so take them to Cinecittà World instead.

Rides are paid in the park's own tokens, called Lunalire, unless you buy the unlimited ticket. For a family, the Family Package is the one to get: €21 a person with unlimited rides, minimum one adult and one child. Entry alone is €10 and includes 5 Lunalire. In spring and autumn it opens only at weekends and on holidays.

Tips for the visit

  • Check the calendar on the official site before going. It is closed on most weekdays outside summer.
  • Use the height tool on the park's website to see which rides your child can go on.
  • Parking inside the park is free.
  • Halloween night on 31 October has its own prices: €25 a person for the Family Package.
